How long is the wedding car hire period?
Most bookings are planned around a four-hour hire period, measured from departure from our Liverpool showroom to the vehicle’s return. We are flexible where the itinerary needs it, and confirm every journey and any additional time before you book.
Can we view the cars before booking?
Yes. Viewings are available by appointment at Keyhole Motors, 47A Dinas Lane, Liverpool L36 2NL. Booking an appointment lets us make sure the vehicles you want to compare are available to see.
How far in advance should we book?
Many couples enquire 12–18 months ahead, especially for spring and summer Saturdays. Short-notice dates can still be possible, so it is always worth asking us to check availability.
How many journeys will the car make?
We can plan multiple journeys where the route and time allow. Share every pick-up address, passenger group, ceremony and reception time so we can advise how many trips—and how many vehicles—will work comfortably.
Do you travel outside Liverpool?
Yes. The fleet travels throughout Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and North Wales. Additional mileage may apply beyond the standard local radius and will be agreed before booking.
Can pets travel in the vehicles?
Pets are not normally carried because the specialist interiors can be easily damaged. Please discuss any assistance-dog or exceptional requirement directly with the team before booking.
Can we drive the vehicles ourselves?
No. Every Keyhole Motors wedding car is chauffeur-driven and may only be driven by an approved company driver.
What happens if a vehicle develops a fault?
The fleet is routinely serviced, maintained and checked. Mechanical issues are rare, but if a problem becomes apparent we will contact you promptly and work through the practical alternatives available for your booking.
Do you provide cars for school proms?
No. Keyhole Motors is licensed for weddings rather than school proms. Some vehicles can be considered separately for film, photography and commercial creative work—please ask about the intended use.
